5th Graders Are Taking Their Shot!

It was a very stormy day outside, then suddenly the sky flashed pink and went back to the storm; Crash pink again. “What is happening?” ask jeffery. “I don’t know.” replied his dad, John. This is not like the weather”... then suddenly a baby giraffe flew out of the sky and landed painfully on his head with a crack. Then he got up and got Jeffrey and John on his back and ran. Suddenly the giraffe spit and his spit made a big dusty hole. Then they were in the hole and the covered it up and they were safe.

¨I´m going up to the attic,¨ I shouted down the stairs. ¨Okay,¨ Mom replied. I climbed the very steep and dusty stairs to the attic. When I got up the stairs I saw a light pink giraffe sitting in the corner. I was walking towards the giraffe, when suddenly it started to glow. I backed up until I fell over a pile of boxes, it was very painful. ¨I probably sprained my ankle,¨ I muttered. Then the giraffe floated over to where I was sitting and sang/screamed a lovely song. I thought I was going crazy.

Pink. Pink. IT’S EVERYWHERE!!!!! Frankly, it’s quite painful for my eyes. Don’t you see it? You don’t? You must be quite dusty then. Over there! You see? Even that giraffe is pink! No? You are quite dusty if I do say so myself. Maybe this will clear ya’ up. Remember when you sang- well… tried to sing “Wrecking Ball” by Miley Cyrus? Now that was painful for my ears. Alright, now that you’re cleared up, do you see all the pink? You still don’t? Wait… What? I’m not crazy! You’re the crazy one.

There was a pink giraffe whose name was Ellie. Ellie was a very famous singer in London, California, Maine, New Jersey, North Carolina, and South Carolina. She was very famous, her fans loved her and it seemed she had a perfect life but during a concert she sang out of shear pain she was stabbed.She awakened in a dusty hospital bed she tried to move but it was to painful for her.She closed her eyes she could feel herself rising slowly she opened her eyes and saw herself and heard long beep.She died shortly after she dreamed.

“Ashley stop singing” I say. My sister sang so much it was painful to hear. We were at the zoo then I saw a dusty giraffe. It opened its mouth and I saw the tongue, pink then I saw its throat dark red. It hasn't been getting water. I see water in the stream out of reach of the giraffe and an empty cup. I grab it and fill it with water then I give it to him. Then I walk away hoping people will take care of it with my sister behind me singing supercalifragilisticexpialidocious as we walked away. ...

One day I was walking past a dusty ally and I saw a giraffe being tarred and feathered with pink feathers. It looked very painful. I ran over to the giraffe and helped it get all the tar and pink feathers off of the giraffe. The giraffe was grateful and happy that I helped the giraffe. Later that day the giraffe sang out in happiness. I was very happy that the giraffe was happy.

It's the year 3067; there's nothing left but dusty smoke and painful diseases. Life in the 2000s is all gone. My mom showed me a picture of my great great grandmother. It was a picture of her in a pink dress while standing next to a giraffe while she sang about them. We looked a lot alike. I wish our lives were alike. Funny how they had clean air. Funny how we can't even go outside without a hazmat suit. Funny how they had clean water because we are running out.

A pink giraffe named Dusty sang one day. It was a very sad song and he sang it because it was painful. For some reason, he loves pain and yesterday he broke his hand on purpose. He also is a very short giraffe. He once was tall but he fell in Gabriels magic portal and now he's short. But then, one day he fell back in the portal and now he is a happy pink gorilla. But sometimes, he gets sad. But he is still happy today. And he stopped being sad. Hooray to Dusty!

One day there was a pink giraffe in the Africa section of the zoo. His name was Bob. He always sang for the crowd of people. He was walking in the dusty dirt when a rock hit him in the head. He screamed. Hundreds of years later he woke up from his coma.He was excited to see his friends again when he got back to the exhibit. He said it was very painful to get hit by a rock. Then out of nowhere, he died. “Probably died of old age” his friends said as they walked away very slowly.

One time a pink giraffe sang a song, it made the animal’s ears become painful. The pink giraffe was arrested shortly after. Her cell had sound proof walls and a dusty toilet with no flush lever. The bars would bounce back the sound of her singing. She has to sing but her ears might explode. She sang anyway; her ears hurt but she didn't mind. The bars broke and she ran. She was on the most wanted list since she escaped. One year later she was found and brought back to prison forever. She died in prison a year later.
