5th Graders Are Taking Their Shot!

It was a cloudy day in Chicago, little Elizabeth was riding her pink,blue, and red bicycle down 3rd ave with her mom to the Park. On their way her teddy bear fell out of her arms and onto the muddy road. ‘’Oh no’’ said little Elizabeth, She then picked it up and tried to wipe off the gross brown mud, but that didn't go as planned. When she did it, it got all smeared. After that her mom saw the teddy bear and thought it was best to go home and wash it, so on they went home.

Ella sat on her bike. Riding in the big city with her mom and dad she had her backpack that held her teddy bear. She had had him since she was little girl but when she was riding, her backpack unzipped. Sadly her bear fell out of her bag and onto the street. She didn’t notice that he had fallen out until her family went to a reaurant and wanted to take it out of her bag. But it wasn't there. But, a person came by and gave her back the bear she had lost. “I saw you drop it”.

One sunny morning a little girl named emma goes to the park with her stuffed teddy bear and was playing with teddy the teddy bear. When she got home she realized teddy was gone! She was so sad and begged her dad to find teddy. After he got home he said”you left teddy at the park” dad said “sorry”emma whispers. And from then on she always looks to see if she forgot anything.

So one day Fred was walking down the street all alone when he saw a lonely teddy bear!!! He just had to do something because it was raining outside. He was wall alone singing to himself “All around me are familiar faces” He just seemed so LONELY! I tried to take him but it was super glued!!! Oh no! That wasn’t very good so, I ran. Why you ask? Because a bomb was attached!!!! BOOM! I fell. My ears rang like a bee was in my head. I sat up in my bed and my alarm clock was ringing.

One and rainy day my mom and I went grocery shopping while my dad and my sister went to the movies. When we were in the grocery store I had my teddy bear in my hand as we were checking out. As we were walking out we ran quickly to our car because it was pouring rain. We were running so fast I didn’t realize that I dropped my teddy in the streets. I looked back and my mom was grabbing my hand and running to the car and that’s when I said my final goodbyes to my bear.

One early lazy morning in oofvill emma wore a oversized fringe and loved it. After eating eggs for breakfast she saw a flickering light in the house and gave her the creeps. So she did her chores and told her dad about the light. Emma washed the black shirts first until she found another flickering light. After that she left as fast as she could.

Hi, this is Jeff. My hair is fringed. I like donuts and waffles AND even eggs. Before, I wished that I could get my car washed. Now though, I can! A black flickering light is the only thing in my house besides my T.V. That’s pretty much all I do and anything I want to do. I know I’m kind of lame but do I care? No! So yah, get off of me for being LAME. I bet you didn’t! Sorry guys my moms calling me for her DISGUSTING dinner. “No mom I didn’t say disgusting!” Sorry again now byeeee.

I put on my favorite apron it was pink with a cute fringe on the bottom. While I tied my apron,I got one of the newly washed pans from the cabinet. The ceiling fan light started flickering. “Not my favorite way to start off the day” I said, smiling I started making the eggs. A few mins later the phone rang it was my friend Phoebe. I went to the living room to answer the call. I came back a few minutes later and I saw the eggs that the scrambled eggs had turned black “Oh no” I thought…………. To be continued…..

Every day I have to get up take a rinse and put on my fringed black pants. After I get dressed and I have washed I check on the chickens, This one particular day I went to check on them but instead of a empty nest I found three eggs, and more in other nests. I was really excited because we were running low on chickens and needed more, I really wanted to tell my Dad but he is in the fields working and can’t be disturbed. I was flickering with exitement to see the new chicks.

The fringes on my shirt slowly fall off as I hear the eggs being put on the pan. When I was searching the fridge for the bacon, the lights washed away. Everything was black as if someone had turned of all the lights. The lights flickered on for less than a second then back off. Although I caught a glimpse of something, a Zombie? When I tell my dad he doesn't believe me, I fell a clench on my neck, Ahhh I get this creature in a headlock than body it to the ground. The light turn on, a Hero!

We were going to decorate Easter egg today, at Grandmas! Before I left, I had to wash my favorite shirt that Grandma got for me. She loves it when I wear it. When we got there, there was a lot of eggs. I got the biggest egg. I was going to paint a rainbow, but it ended up black because I added to many colors. I added fringe so it would not look as bad. It looked ok. When I stood up I hit my head on the lamp. “Ooof.” I screamed. The light started to flicker. “The light is flickering so much.” my Grandma said.

When mom made green eggs and ham, I knew it was Dr. Seuss’s birthday. I came down stairs and saw banners and all his books, like 1 Fish 2 Fish Red Fish Blue Fish, and Green Eggs and Ham. The light started flickering and the house started to shake because of the music my sister was playing. After my mom yelled at at my sister to come down, she ran down in her black t-shirt with fringe. We had a family meal because it was my moms favorite authors birthday or something. We washed dishes and continued celebrating Dr.Seuss’s birthday!!!!!!!!!!!

“Once upon a time...wait, stop, first i’m going to tell you about me”. “Hi my name is Bobby and I only have 100 words to tell you about me so.. i’ll try to do this fast”. First of all, I have fringed hair, it looks kinda weird though”.Also my favorite breakfast food is eggs”. I live on 2495 random place lane”. “My house is in the top left corner and has a black car in the driveway”. “It also has the flickering lights on the porch”. And my favorite hobby is washing dishes(JK😂 )That's all bye!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

“crow! Crow!” The fox called. “Yes, fox?” She paused, sitting on his back and ruffling her black feathers. The sunlight was flickering “how are the eggs ? “Yes..But they took so long!” She chirped. “Well crow, if you roll them around the nest, they hatch sooner!” “Really?” ‘Yes!” Hearing this, crow dived to her nest. Babies faster? Yess! She thought as she grabbed her egg and put it on the fringe of her nest. It rolled around and she watched as fell- Wait for things- rushing can be bad

One sunny day me and my family were walking down the streets of Australia and we saw a bunch of statues all in a group. So we decided to go take a look, when we got there some the statues were wearing the same colors and it was so fascinating we took a picture so we could remember our trip to Australia forever.

As the plane flies under the great blue sky you can see people looking through the tiny window on the plane. Excuse, miss would you like a beverage? Asks the beverage lady. Oh, i’m sorry. No thank you. Answers Veronica. Blue,red, so many different colors mom. Says the kid in the seat behind me. Yeah, they must be doing something with those colorful statues.Answers the mother. The plane zooms right past it like a bird escaping from a hawk. I will always remember that. I thought. As the palm trees start fading away my eyes start to shut.

One day in Africa on the beach it was a normal day. But then at least 100 colorful weird looking people came on the beach and didn't say anything. They just kept walking through the beach. The police came but they kept walking. Then the F.B.I came but they didn't stop. Then someone yelled go home! Then they stopped for a few seconds. All of the sudden they started to run. They ran all the way home.

Ella was going on a walk, she did not know where to, but… she just kept walking forward letting the sand go in between her toes,listing to the roaring water of the ocean. When all of a sudden she saw green toed statues, EVERYWHERE!!!!! Her heart started to race, thinking “where did they come from?” She then saw a man walking through the statues and then she realized they must be part of the show that would take place in an hour or so and relaxed a little and continued her beach side jog,but she walked around the statues.

A giant plastic Terracotta army was stomping around Australia . “Run for your lives!” somebody yelled. The plastic monsters picked up a car and threw it into the river. They went on smashing house and cars. Then somebody gave a soldier a cheeseburger and he ran home. The man that gave him a cheeseburger was named Graham. Graham called a town meeting in their military bunker. The plan was to get all the cheeseburgers and put them all in the middle of town. And lure the soldiers into eating. Clunk! The giant soldiers came. They took the burgers and ran home.

I was walking down the street at night and it was cool. Until… I saw some GIANT lego peoples. They looked WEIRD. And I can not lie. Then they started to move too! Oh No! And I thought to myself what a wonderful world. No I was just kidding about that part. What I was actually thinking was, OMG they mutated LEGO’s now! I mean c’mon, first they mutate turtles and now they mutate LEGO’s!!!! What's gonna happen are they gonna be superheroes or supervillains. Hopefully supervillains so we can get money together if you know what I mean!
