5th Graders Are Taking Their Shot!

Once there was a girl that loved her bike. She had a pink bike with pink bubbles that came out from the handle. She loved going on bike rides at the park and around the town. But one day her bike broke and the bubble dispenser was empty and there were no more bubbles in the house. She was so mad that the girl got her mom fired from her job at Dunkin Donuts. But her mom made the girl happy by getting the job back and buying her daughter more pink bubbles.

It all happened one foggy black night. He was walking on the street talking to his mom on the phone. Then... he saw a light coming at him. The light blinded him. As he was laying on the cold road, his mom spoke again. “Do you need me to come and get you?” He got up and said, “Yes, mom. Please come and get me, Mom?” “Yes, sweetie, where are you?” “Mom, I don't know.” “What happened to you? Why do you sound hurt?” “I got hit! It all happened fast.” I heard thunder; I woke up from my nightmare.

Somebody was running after him with white eyes. He was chasing him. He didn't know that the sword was coming for his throat because he was turned around and then the light blinded him!!!! The light off the sword was so bright it was like a thousand suns shining at him. The guy with the white eyes came at him then he pulled out his sword and then they had a sword battle. Sparks were flying everywhere!! When they got to a cliff he pushed the White eye guy off the cliff and looked down and he said “Bye.” Ugh.

Click. The light appeared on me. The show had started. A person screamed in the crowd,“Go Brandon.” I was playing Peter Pan. The light shone so bright I almost forgot my part because my eyes started to hurt. Someone in the crowd whispered, ¨It looks like the light blinded him.¨ I went on with my act, but then more light shone on me, and I started to get dizzy. Then splat! I saw darkness. The show stopped. And everybody went silent. Next thing I knew, I was in the nurse's office with an ice pack on my head.

We were reading articles for school. I chose one about how a man blinded himself. It was kinda exciting. After we read the articles we had to present what we learned. It was my turn to perform. Here goes nothing. “Bill was walking up the steps because it was his turn to perform for the talent show. He was going to sing the the National Anthem. The music begin. The lights turned on. The light was so bright that it blinded him. Yes that's right the light blinded him. That it the story of how Bill Smith went blind.”

Rolan looked up at the Sun. The light blinded him for a few moments. He couldn’t remember the last time he had ever seen the Sun, for he had been in hiding for the past 9 years. “Rolan,” Celeste gasped in awe. “I can't believe we’re finally, after all these years, seeing the Sun again.” “Heh, yeah.” Her brother replied. “It’s even more beautiful than I remember it.” “W-what do we do now?” asked Celeste. “Well,” he said. “ What if we go into the town down there?” “B-but what if they’re there?” “Welp. We’ll just have to find out, then.”

9:00 am, sky black as can be.Lightning flashing as bright as someone turning on a flashlight right in front of your eyes. Thunder crackling very loud. The lightning was so bright when my brother woke up, he said,“turn off the lights,” in a cranky voice. “That is the lightning,” I said sounding awake as can be. My brother got up to go shut the blinds, As he was about to shut them I heard him scream, “I can’t see!” “Did the light blind him,”I thought? “Hope not.”I thought.

How My Story Began One evening I walked down stairs and put on my eclipse glasses and rushed outside. My mom reminded me to not take off my glasses. I just whispered, “Whatever.” I was trying to find it, but once I finally found it I wanted a better look, so I took off the glasses…. Now I'm here at the Emergency Room. I hear the doctor say to my mom and me, “The light blinded him..” My heart sinks into my stomach. “It's going to be ok, Alex.” Oh goodness...

The light blinded him. “Did you steal the bananas?” The detective interrogated. “I don’t know.” “Well that’s why i’m asking you.” “Ok then, ask him.” “I’m not falling for you trickster.” “Ok, go get that trickster then.” “I’m talking about you! “Exactly. You’re talking about You. So ask him if he stole the bananas.” “I didn’t steal the bananas! You were the only one leaving the store.” “And with that information it must be You.” “It wasn’t me!” “I know it wasn’t you but it was You.” The detective stood up and walked away. “At least You isn’t busted.”

One day at the supermarket Bobby was on his shift at the register when he noticed a flashlight on the ground. He got up, walked over and picked it up. He checked if there was battery by turning it on, but unwittingly he had pointed the light at his eye and when he turned it on… the light blinded him. Bobby was never able to go back to his Job at the supermarket. But he was able to get a nice service dog.

One day a man woke up his name is sam. He went to go open the blinds and then the lights blinded him. Then he went to the kitchen to get something to eat. Then he had to get ready for work. After work sam went out to get some dinner he had pizza. Then he went home to watch some TV then he went to bed.

It was a snowy dark day for Robert Chrome, Getting back from work late and feeling a bit hungry. He then decided to go for a bite to eat. A while later he arrived and the Pub 84, He rushed inside the restaurant trying not to get blowed by the wind. He entered a little slower than usual, He looked around the brightness made him feel like his eyes were burning. And as he thought the lights blinded him. He than ran out of the restaurant and decided to go somewhere else.The car vroomed and then off he went.

The lights blinded him as the helicopter was hovering over him. He ran very fast so could to get away but after running for a while he got tired and stopped to take a breath. When suddenly cop cars surrounded him and than one of the cops came out of the cars. “Stop where you are and put your hands up!” the man yelled “You are under arrest for stealing my potato from my garden while I was basking in the sun.” “I'm sorry but the potato was too perfect not to take!” “Fine but buy me a new potato!”

He woke up and got dressed wondering what he would do today then suddenly a bang,light and the light blinded him. He opened his eyes curious like crazy. What was that flash and bang. Suddenly he saw it. A big blue square with cool looking futuristic stuff. He climbed in as his mother walked up and the machine disappeared in a flash and bang.The mother screamed with horror. “Jack where are you JACK WHERE'D YOU GO” then once again the square appeared and a old man walked out. “Hi mom” The mother yelped with fear “Jack?”

On a windy day the power was out and i did not know what to do and then i say a hat go flying torow the air and then i say a wizard of the town. Then i say a light and i go to look after and then i say a man sitting on his porch looking at the sky and then the light blinded him and he said i can not see! At least you can see.Then the sky stopped and the town went back to normal and that is the end of the story.

There was once a guy named bob. Bob liked to stare at the sun because he wanted to be blind. No one knows why but the sun doesn’t ever hurt his eyes until one day… When bob woke up he does the usual. He gets up and eats breakfast. But then after that he does the Unusual. He goes outside and lays down in a chair and stares at the sun. Until a day where he gets outside and goes to stare at the sun but this time the light actually blinded him. OH no what next! THE END. YEET!

His mom left the curtains open letting the sunlight pour in on him.”It burns”,he said and squinted.”Oh,please,I will leave your list of chores on your desk,she said leaving.James turned his video game controller back on and closed the curtains. later… “James Michael Smith I told you to get out of bed and do your chores”,she yelled opening the curtains.The light blinded him.”AHHH” He said.”Technically you didn’t say that you told me the list would be on my desk”,James said grinning.

“ I get a say in this though.” Sarah complained. “How about the stories about a boy going into a fairy tale.” Jessica suggested.” “Fine” sarah said “So we will do that. “ Ooh! I know. How about we make up one.” Jessica said in an excited tone. “Ok.” “How about the boy goes on a bridge and the light blinded him and was blind for the rest of his life. We can put a twist at the end she said quietly. He’ll walk of a cliff because he is blind. That’s the perfect twisted ending.” said jessica about to explode. “Perfect”!

When he was going down stairs it was about five in the morning and it was pitch black out side and he went to the kitchen to drink coffee then its was two hours later 7:00 in the morning and the sun was bright in the kitchen the light blinded him because the sun was so bright and he could not explain how bright it was it was like a alien was coming to earth. He then turned to look at his phone but the light was reflecting on the phone it was really bright.

But one day he look at the sun and all of the sudden he goes blind you know why because the light blinded him and he never saw a color again. And after one year he finally got a service dog. But then after ten years he died a sad death and his dog one year his dog died and he was bared. And the end thanks so much.

Zack raced across the ile in his local walmart. He was looking for ultra flex tape just because he sawed his boat in half last week. After a while, Zack just gave up. “There should be a whole ile for flex tape!” Zack walked out of walmart with a discouraged face, but he didn’t give up ZACK AND THE JOURNEY TO FIND FLEX TAPE! Zack went to his local lazer shop hoping they would have flex tape, disappointed that he did not find flex tape. He checked out the lazers, bam! The light blinded him. NOT THE FLEX TAPE!!!!!

Joe was looking out at his hammock. He jumped on it and sat there and perked his head up because he saw his friend Noodle. “What noodle???” Joe said. Noodle stared at him and jumped in the mini pool. “UGH!!! Why won’t anyone talk to me!?!?” Joe said angrily. Then he yelled “RAT!” Rat and Mouse came when mouse said “Don’t ever make fun of her!” Joe said “Her name is Rat… I’m not making fun of her…” Mouse said “I don’t care!” Joe looked at the light as it blinded him “Go away” he said only to hop off

Crunch... as Tyler was walking through the frosted grass, he realized that he didn't know where he was… he knew that it was getting dark out and that it was getting colder every step. A few minutes later he saw something a car! had it come to save him? As the car was getting closer the lights blinded him.They obviously see him.Then just then the car stopped, there was a lady inside and she asked “Are you okay or do you need a ride somewhere”… if you don't mind taking me too reef cabin starlight, yeah hop in.

“Owww!” Jake said the light blinded him conner why “would you look directly at the sun with a telescope!?” “I don’t know?” “Mom oh my gosh” let’s get you to a hospital she said. Jake went to the hospital he got a eye scan “we don’t know what’s wrong” “my poor baby!” “mo-om” “we got these” the doctor pulled out a pair of contacts “contacts?” Jake said they went home Jake was pretty bummed out that he had two were contacts but then Jake overheard the doctors talking that it wasn’t the sun… it was a disease he got scared...

It was a peaceful night and everybody was softly asleep. You couldn’t hear a single creak and you can only hear the soft gentle wind, but then as a police car pulled up at the house with their sirens as loud as cars honking at each other and so the family turned on all the lights and the lights blinded him as the rest of the family felt fine. The cops walked out and knocked on the door. “Hands up, your getting arrested for stealing my starbucks coffee” They just cried in laughter and said it was just a joke!

Says my brother confused but half asleep. ‘’Also I brought you guus donuts’’ says my sister ‘’ YES I KNEW IT’’ I said with a humongous smile on my face!! Thanks! My brother says in a hungry way!
