5th Graders Are Taking Their Shot!

100 word challenge Camryn’s dark brown chocolate spilled all over her greasy stove. “ How am I going to clean this up without getting my pretty dress dirty?” Camryn said. Bertram the butler took his favorite giraffe towel and cleaned up the mess. Bertram let out a sigh and said “ I hate my job”. After he cleaned up the mess, he brought out some Salt and Vinegar chips into the family room.

It was a Sunday evening, I was planning to make chocolate chip cookies. I then went to the pantry and got out flour, vanilla, baking powder, chocolate chips, eggs, sugar, and brown sugar. When I opened up the brown sugar jar it was empty. What a surprise!, I then put the ingredients back and decided to watch TV.

1\3 cup of cocoa powder,4 eggs,Esme read off her phone.”Alrighty we are all set for Brownies!” 32 minutes later… “Ding”!! “ Ok,the brownies are all done”. Esme squealed. She opened the oven. Her face went pale,she dropped her mouth open. The oven was EMPTY...what a surprise. E-M-P-T-Y. Where had her brownies gone? “I swear I put brownies in there”.She whispered.She turned her head,there were the brownies! That Esme never put in the oven.”Oh well,I guess now I have to put them in the oven.

One lovely morning i went on a walk with my family, we saw so many things! We saw a man working on a new apartment building on a 12 foot long red ladder. We saw a boy and his dog playing fetch at the beach, the dogs feet were sinking in the sand and they got stuck. “Poor dog”. Than afterwards we went to the park with a fountain and made wishes with coins. That was a great day!

As I walked down the pathway I saw a group of men trying to get a red sparkly latter out of the pavement, one worker was just then bending down when a pile of coins fell out of his pocket. I then went over to the worker picked up his coins and put them on a table. After that I went down the path and went on with my walk.

It was a cloudy day in Chicago, little Elizabeth was riding her pink,blue, and red bicycle down 3rd ave with her mom to the Park. On their way her teddy bear fell out of her arms and onto the muddy road. ‘’Oh no’’ said little Elizabeth, She then picked it up and tried to wipe off the gross brown mud, but that didn't go as planned. When she did it, it got all smeared. After that her mom saw the teddy bear and thought it was best to go home and wash it, so on they went home.

Ella sat on her bike. Riding in the big city with her mom and dad she had her backpack that held her teddy bear. She had had him since she was little girl but when she was riding, her backpack unzipped. Sadly her bear fell out of her bag and onto the street. She didn’t notice that he had fallen out until her family went to a reaurant and wanted to take it out of her bag. But it wasn't there. But, a person came by and gave her back the bear she had lost. “I saw you drop it”.
